High Pay Rates
Our Travelers are some of the highest paid in the country. We always offer the most competitive compensation paid to Travelers in a particular city or region, while maintaining the balance of valuable benefits packages. While on assignment you will be paid by our Payroll Department or the Client facility's payroll department. The pay rates offered vary for each assignment and may range from $18-$34 per hour for registered nurses. The enormous number of assignments make it impractical for us to publish pay rates for each location and profession on the Internet.

License and Certification Reimbursement
Are your License up for renewal or have you just taken a CPR, ACLS or other certification class? Just stop by our office or fill out our online form, and all current travelers on assignments or per diem workers will be reimbursed 100% for the expense of the renewal or class fee!

Group Medical/Dental/Life Insurance
Because health insurance is a benefit so highly valued by our Travelers, TLC pays 100 percent of premium expenses for medical, dental and life insurance. Our group medical plan minimizes out-of-pocket costs and meets a wide range of healthcare needs while allowing our healthcare professionals to obtain routine care, including the annual physical exams and health clearances required of them. Travelers especially appreciate the use of our Prescription Drug Card and the availability of dependent care coverage.

Travel Reimbursement
Whether you travel by plane, train or automobile, you will receive a generous travel reimbursement for each travel assignment. Exact per mile and round-trip maximum amounts vary by assignment.

Assignment Completion Bonus
Many travel assignments with our clients offer special completion bonuses, which are paid in a lump sum once you complete your initial 13 week assignment. Some Travelers "cash in" on these offers by taking consecutive assignments and earning multiple bonuses at the same location. When offered, completion bonuses usually range from $500 to $2,500 for a 13 week assignment.

Referral Bonuses
Whether you are a Traveler or are just interested in sending quality people our way, you can also earn extra cash through our referral bonus program. You will receive your $250 bonus once your referred candidates have completed their first assignment with TLC.

Free Direct Deposit
While you are working on an TLC payroll assignment, either travel or per diem, you will always have the convenient option of having your payroll check deposited directly to the bank of your choice. This benefit gives you the fastest access to your paycheck. Within 48 hours of faxing in your time, your check is waiting on you in your account!

24 Hour Management and Clinical Support
It is the goal of TLC is to always be available to our Travelers. TLC is committed to the provision of service, and this means 24 hour accessibility. If you are a Traveler with an emergency, you can always be connected with a Recruitment Manager, Clinical Liaison, or Housing Manager to help resolve your problem.

Payroll and Benefits Service Center
Do you have a quick question about your health insurance? Would you like to have your paycheck directly deposited? We know of no other travel healthcare company that provides such direct access to the people who facilitate these important benefits for you. Our unique Payroll and Benefits Service Center for Travelers is staffed by individuals who can answer your questions and make the changes you request or quickly connect you to the appropriate person.

Clinical staff for Travelers
Do you have a question that can be answered only by an RN, or an issue that can be resolved only by someone who has "been there, done that?" As an TLC Traveler you always have 24 hour 7 day access to one of our RN Clinical Liaisons.

Your Obligations
You have no obligation to TLC until you actually accept an assignment. Unlike other companies, you are not required to sign a one year contract to work with us. You make your commitment one assignment at a time. Assignments are typically 13 weeks in duration. After you finish your first assignment, you may extend with our Client, take a new assignment, go home and visit your family, take a permanent position or do whatever you would like to do. Of course, we will be doing our best to keep you with TLC Nursing Services, but the choice is always yours.
